‘Texas’ instalment ends shooting

Filming for the second installment of Iran box office hit ‘Texas’ has wrapped up with international cast.

The sequel to Iranian comedy ‘Texas’ with Portuguese and Brazilian actors on the cast roll ended filming in Iranian capital city of Tehran, a Monday local media report said.

Directed by Masoud Atyabi, original ‘Texas’ had an action comic theme and enjoyed some foreign stars.

“Never threaten an Iranian, even in Texas,” the flick’s a tagline says.

Pejman Jamshidi, Sam Derakhshani and Hamid Farrokhnejad played in the original movie.

Atyabi who is at the helm of the new flick has directed movies and series such as ‘Calamities of the Maiden’, ‘The Fighter Rooster’ and ‘A Share for a Friend’.

Mehdi Hashemi along with the well-known comedy duo to ifilmers, Sam Derakhshani and Pejman Jamshidi, stars in the second sequel to ‘Texas’.
